Often, no. Duct cleaning is not something most homes need on a schedule, and CMHC studies found it usually will not change the air you breathe. It is worth it after a renovation, a move, visible mould, a pest problem, or when someone has allergies or asthma. If a free inspection shows your ducts are fine, we will tell you.
Because we actually clean the system. Professional HEPA equipment and a few hours of skilled work cost more than $99. The robocall price exists to get someone in your door and sell you a much bigger job.
We will not diagnose mould by eye, because you cannot. If we suspect it, we will recommend independent testing before anyone spends a dollar on treatment.
Most homes take a few hours. Someone should be home at the start so we can walk the inspection with you and again at the end to hand over the footage.
